Bike Terminology
24 July, 2008
Okay, so you are going to buy a bike and start “commuting” on it. What do you need to know. Apparently, in parts of Europe you need to know how tall you are, and that is about it. To read what I am talking about, click on the picture.
It is a fascinating read and I hope that we can be that way around here some day.(In many ways I think I should just move to Europe, Copenhagen or Amsterdam, and just be done with the whole bicycle advocacy thing, but then I wake up and realize I am an American and I live in Utah and that is where my family is etc. You get my drift don’t you?) So, what do you really need to know to be able to buy a bike in North America? You need to know how tall you are.

Scott,
That is what I am all about. Practical bikes that you can ride in normal clothes and allow you to replace a car for local trips. Thanks for your comment!
