Orem Planning Commission

Tonight was the Orem Planning Commission’s turn to critique and talk over the Orem Bike Ped Plan. I’ll make this short. They love it, even those who don’t ride bikes. They forwarded it on to the City Council with a unanimous approval and recommendation. Afterwards, I heard two commissioners in the hall talking, saying that they want to get some new bikes and start riding. There is hope after all!

This is wonderful news. I makes me proud of Orem and their desire to try and keep up with the positive ways other communities are doing to improve the quality of life through alternative transportation.
Thanks to you, too, for all the hard work and advocacy you have done to help others see the need and benefit of improving bicycle commuting in Orem and surrounding communities.
